The FARSCCD Elections Committee would like to thank Jim, Andy, and Kelvin for stepping forward and running to represent you, the Faculty of the Rancho Santiago Community College District.
We would like to thank all those who took the time to vote in the election. We would also like to thank those who left comments regarding the election.
While the comments were overwhelmingly positive, there were some concerns raised regarding anonymity.
So, the answer to this question is, “Yes”, voting members’ anonymity is protected!
This is how it works: Members are directed to a third-party website [simplyvoting.com] to vote. The votes are then sent to the FARSCCD election committee. Each vote is identified with a receipt number only. This receipt number cannot be traced back to the voting member’s name. This receipt number is provided to the voter as proof that their vote was registered with our third-party website. (The only way a vote could be identified with a certain member is if they were to contact the FARSCCD voting committee and inform them of their receipt number.) If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know at farsccd@gmail.com
